Busy with finishing off some overdue commission work at the moment but I managed to compile the photos of the paltry amount of Empire figures I've completed so far. I took a ‘stock check’ of all the Empire figures I have and it’s around 400, plastics and metals....
First up is the Elector Count of Nordland; Jakob von Sternhiem
Then some generic troops and pistoliers (who have been converted to have fancy hats lol).
A fancy general/lord; Wilhelm von Darkmoor.
Young household knights.
A very small unit of great swords and then some artillery to finish off.
I've got some of the Perry Dogs of War being finished off and I'll post those when they are done.

Very nice, great eye-candy. Very much the same as me that I've got a shed load of plastic & metal Empire to paint. One day :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Elector Count and hero conversions are particularly nice. Look forward to see your DoW.
Cheers Rory
Thank you :-)
DeleteNot far off finishing them and I've also remembered that I've got some that I was going to use for a mercenary company for Game of Thrones.
cheers

Load of great figures there, and I appreciate all the little conversions. The heretical round and oval bases do lend a certain modernity to the figures...
ReplyDeleteI have been packing up some stuff for a cross-the-house move of some miniatures and my hobby desk, and now have a couple of unpainted regiments staring me in the eye every time I walk by... by couple I guess I mean a half dozen at least!
Thanks :-)
DeleteI prefer the round bases as I do alot of skimish games and it's more pleasing to my eye ;-) I also have clear sabot bases to rank them up when the time comes for larger battles.
I keep finding litle enclaves of a few figures here and there and I'm hoping it'll stop soon as I'm finding more than I'm able to paint lol
cheers

Is that the Green Knights horse from the old Brettonians?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, that all looks fabulous, splendid brushwork and choice of colours.
Thanks :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is, I thought it was suitable enough to pass as a fancy Empire horse.
cheers
